Special NeedsVery Affectionate FIV+ kitty
DIAMOND is a silky longhair neutered male who was trying his best to be taken in by residents of a Danville apartment complex, to no avail. A kind relative of one resident fed him every day but couldn't take him herself. And soon it was apparent that the residents would take him to the pound as a nuisance -- so she called CC4C. Diamond is estimated to be 4-5 years old. He was obviously owned and loved by someone sometime because he was anxious for attention -- as well as food! Diamond is in good physical condition despite testing positive for FIV. Recent vet school studies show that FIV cats often live long and healthy lives. Diamond must be an indoor only kitty to ensure that FIV is not passed on to other cats He loves laps, and is somewhat playful. Probably not a good cat for children; he can get overstimulated and nip, though he's learning more self control. Contact Candace at email@example.com to meet handsome Diamond.
