Lyle is a beautiful black abby/tabby male, born around April 30. He came from a feral colony in West Village and is very sweet, with a deep easy purr. Lyle is still quite shy and, although he curls up purring on a lap once picked up, he still requires socializing. He will require a patient cat person who can see his amazing cat potential, and appreciates the beautiful, sweet, shy kitten that he currently is. Lyle does well with our cats but is still quite afraid of our dogs, and he needed time to trust that the cats did not want to have him as a yummy snack. Lyle lives with his foster brother Brooklyn. He and Brooklyn cuddle and clearly comfort one another but Lyle would also be fine as an only cat or with other animals. He would likely do best in a quieter home. Lyle is a gentle soul and his foster family knows he will find a wonderful loving forever home, will it be yours?

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email cats@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at http://www.yolospca.org.

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
