ADOPT DRITA **URGENT** and HER ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED!
DRITA’s Adoption Fee ($125) has been paid for by a generous member of her fan club, so if you adopt Drita the fee will be waived!
No surprise this waggy, wiggly, affection-loving low-rider is a volunteer favorite. From her snorts of bliss to her roly-poly walk, there’s just nothing not cute about her. In a word: scrumptious. And she seems to adore everyone she meets – a great dog for a family who’s looking for an easy-going, sweet-as-can-be companion. Drita has even starting attending play group. She can be selective about her doggie pals, but she’s got a few canine mentors who are showing her just how much fun it is to be part of the gang. Looking for a little ray of sunshine this summer? Come say hello to Drita.
The staff and volunteers of Berkeley Animal Care Services think that Drita has a personality of Northern Kissing Bandit.

Adoption Fee Details
Most of the dogs and cats presented on our pages have been rescued from the Animal Shelter in Berkeley, California and are now living in temporary foster homes with incredibly caring people. They have all been spayed or neutered, and are up to date on their shots.
Others were rescued from various circumstances, abandonment being the most common. In order to continue our work, we charge a fee for adopting an animal.
•Our adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $200.
•Our adoption fees for kittens and cats are 1 for $100, 2 for $175 (usually 1 for $145, 2 for $255).
•Our adoption fees for black kittens are 2 for $100 (usually 1 for $145, 2 for $255).
•Our adoption fees for adult cats 10 years and older is $100.
These prices now include the microchip registration fee.
We also ask that you fill out an Adoption Application, and a Pet Adoption Agreement to help us ensure that our animals are going to loving, stable homes. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation will not only help us to save more animals, it's also fully tax-deductible. We kindly ask for your support even if you are unable to adopt at this time.
