DescriptionSiberian Husky (short coat)
Please note we do NOT adopt to homes with small animals including small dogs. No Exceptions.
Also Norsled does not adopt outside the Northern California/ Central California area.
Marlowe (aka Marshmallow), born in January 2016, has spent much of her short life raising two litters of puppies. Quinn, who is also available for adoption through Norsled, is a puppy from her first litter. Now it is Marlowe’s turn to enjoy being a happy, carefree, husky. This sweet, smart, independent girl rides well in the car, knows sit, and is house trained. She loves to be around people and to play chase with other dogs. However, whither other dogs, she likes to make the rules, so a like-minded dog may not be a good fit. Marlowe is cautious around people when she first meets them, but give her 5 minutes and she will be your best friend. As with most young huskies, she has a lot of energy and will need a family that can keep her active.
With her stunning blue eyes and big smile, it is hard not to fall in love with this petite girl. Are you the one who is going to introduce Marlowe to a life beyond raising puppies? If so, you won’t be disappointed.
If you are interested in any of the dogs, the first step is to fill out an adoption questionnaire found on our website and email it back to email@example.com.
Adoption Fee Details
Our adoption fees range from $250 to $600, depending on the dog’s adoptability. Small puppies usually have a fee of $600, while older dogs have lower fees. Adoption fees go towards vaccinations, heartworm, spay/neutering, micro-chipping, and medical care if needed. Fees help with kenneling, food, collars, leashes, sometimes even toys, and possibly the use of a dog trainer to help with behavior problems. These fees all go towards helping the dogs. We are an all-volunteer organization, with no paid staff. You don’t get this kind of full service and care when “buying” a new dog. Your new dog will come to you altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. Now all you need to do is get ready to meet your new best “fur”ever friend.
