Hi! My name is Moxy but some call me Foxy. I am a very sweet female senior husky. I'm am 13 years old and I still have lots of energy. In fact I have so much energy others still think I am a puppy when they see me on walks. I absolutely love to be around people and I will want to be by your side all day long. I am very well trained on leash that a child could walk me. I spend most my day sleeping but I like to run around in the morning and evenings. I love car rides and dog parks but I'm more interested in greeting the humans than the other dogs. I have lived with other dogs and children in the past but I can be bossy around food and toys. I try my best to hold my bladder and I sometimes have an accident if I don't have a dog door readily available. I will sleep in a crate or on the floor next to your bed. I'll even sleep on the bed if you tell me to come up, I'll warn you now though that I do snore.
If you are interested in any of the dogs, the first step is to fill out an adoption questionnaire found on our website and email it back to email@example.com.
Adoption Fee Details
Our adoption fees range from $250 to $600, depending on the dog’s adoptability. Small puppies usually have a fee of $600, while older dogs have lower fees. Adoption fees go towards vaccinations, heartworm, spay/neutering, micro-chipping, and medical care if needed. Fees help with kenneling, food, collars, leashes, sometimes even toys, and possibly the use of a dog trainer to help with behavior problems. These fees all go towards helping the dogs. We are an all-volunteer organization, with no paid staff. You don’t get this kind of full service and care when “buying” a new dog. Your new dog will come to you altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. Now all you need to do is get ready to meet your new best “fur”ever friend.
