NorCal Poodle Rescue

I am 14-15 weeks old, about 5 lb,  I look like a large chihuahua puppy. I am  very friendly and active, will hop around on all fours and does the puppy thing of going 100 mph to 0 and sleeping in a moment. There’s no in-between yet. I am very sweet, loves sleeping under the covers with her foster, I am  non-aggressive and have a  great personality. I am all tan with very short thin hair, still my puppy coat. My favorite toy is a cat fishing pole. I have a long nose, unlike a chihuahua, and a longer body than legs and I am growing very fast so who knows how I will develop; however, I’ll probably be around my mom’s size. I have a cowlick along my neck and back so my foster playfully refers to me as a chi-ridgeback.I’ll likely shed but I am a small dog with really short hair so it may not matter much. I have a lot of personality and would probably do well with another dog since myand her mom play so much, yet might like being the only dog with play dates since I LOVE attention. $400.00

Adoption Fee Details

NorCal Poodle Rescue is an Adoption Guarantee Organization: we rehabilitate and re-home all healthy and treatable animals in our care.  NCPR honors the definitions of healthy and treatable as described by the Asilomar Accords.  We publish our shelter/rescue statistics annually.
Our average Adoption Fee is $300, but the range is $100 to $500 depending on the age and the type of Poodle being adopted.  Some Standard Poodles have had a special surgical procedure to prevent gastric torsion.  If so, the surgery fee of $650 is added to the adoption fee for that dog.

Adoption Process: All available Poodles are posted on NorCal Pet Adoptions or NorCal Poodle Rescue websites.  Step 1: submit an Adoption Interest Form. Step 2: a volunteer will call you.  Adoptions are by appointment most days of the week, or on the third Sunday of the month at Pet Food Express, 1388 S. California Blvd., Walnut Creek, 12 noon to 3pm.

Phone: (925) 322-0223 (message only).  If you are inquiring about adoption or a particular dog, please submit an Adoption Interest Form from the website.
