NorCal Poodle Rescue
Hi there. My name is Gracie. People tell me I’m a sweetheart and I’d have to agree. I used to belong to a family but they couldn’t take care of me so they surrendered me to the poodle people. I miss my old family but I’m making new friends now. When I came to the poodle people I had a giant stone in my bladder and an infection and it really hurt. I’ve had surgery now and am eating special food so it doesn’t happen again. I heard the vet talking to my foster mom and he said I would need something called a urinalysis and culture every three months to make sure I don’t get another infection down there (the infections are what cause the stones – who knew?).
So, a little more about me. I love people, I’m house trained, I’m good with kids, I’m good with most dogs, I’m crate trained, and I love playing with toys. What’s not to love? Wouldn’t you like to take me home and make me part of your family? I am either a Cockapoo or Maltipoo- I am not sure which, maybe you could just call me a Cutiepoo? I am 3 years old and 13.8 lbs.

Adoption Fee Details
NorCal Poodle Rescue is an Adoption Guarantee Organization: we rehabilitate and re-home all healthy and treatable animals in our care. NCPR honors the definitions of healthy and treatable as described by the Asilomar Accords. We publish our shelter/rescue statistics annually.
Our average Adoption Fee is $300, but the range is $100 to $500 depending on the age and the type of Poodle being adopted. Some Standard Poodles have had a special surgical procedure to prevent gastric torsion. If so, the surgery fee of $650 is added to the adoption fee for that dog.
Adoption Process: All available Poodles are posted on NorCal Pet Adoptions or NorCal Poodle Rescue websites. Step 1: submit an Adoption Interest Form. Step 2: a volunteer will call you. Adoptions are by appointment most days of the week, or on the third Sunday of the month at Pet Food Express, 1388 S. California Blvd., Walnut Creek, 12 noon to 3pm.
Phone: (925) 322-0223 (message only). If you are inquiring about adoption or a particular dog, please submit an Adoption Interest Form from the website.
