This is a courtesy posting, Please email for information on Blessy.

Blessy is a handsome white and orange tabby. He was surrendered to the shelter when his owner lost her home. He likes to greet people at the door and likes to be around people.  He will headbutt for petting, but likes petting for a short time and will let you know when he’s had enough. He likes to play, and can nip when excited. He likes to chase the string toy, the Cat Dancer, and laser. He’s curious and likes to explore. Blessy has lived as a single indoor cat, but the shelter said they thought he would be ok with a non-aggressive friendly cat. Blessy will do best in a home with an experienced cat owner and without children.

Blessy is in need of a foster home while he awaits his forever home.

Blessy is vaccinated and microchipped.

Adoption Fee Details

Most of the dogs and cats presented on our pages have been rescued from the Animal Shelter in Berkeley, California and are now living in temporary foster homes with incredibly caring people. They have all been spayed or neutered, and are up to date on their shots.

Others were rescued from various circumstances, abandonment being the most common. In order to continue our work, we charge a fee for adopting an animal.

•Our adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $200.
•Our adoption fees for kittens and cats are 1 for $100, 2 for $175 (usually 1 for $145, 2 for $255).
•Our adoption fees for black kittens are 2 for $100 (usually 1 for $145, 2 for $255).
•Our adoption fees for adult cats 10 years and older is $100.

These prices now include the microchip registration fee.

We also ask that you fill out an Adoption Application, and a Pet Adoption Agreement to help us ensure that our animals are going to loving, stable homes. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation will not only help us to save more animals, it's also fully tax-deductible. We kindly ask for your support even if you are unable to adopt at this time.
